As a Strategy Consultant Online, you will be advising our clients on turning their online reach into a flow of revenue.

At Harvest you will contribute to the success and the rapid growth of our company. From day one, you actively participate in projects. You will directly get face to face with Harvest clients, the national and international top of online and offline companies. In every project you are responsible for a part of the result, and you always work in cooperation with our clients and your Harvest colleagues. Teams consist of several consultants, both junior and senior. We stimulate creativity, entrepreneurship and growth. In a short time, you will become a knowledge leader on an online subject and start running your own projects. 

To underpin strategic decisions for our clients, combining analytical thinking and creative solutions is of importance. You will do so by:

- Analysing. Consult experts, collect data, and generate insights. Find issues when they occur by analysing data and modeling future situations. 

- Structuring. Structure complex problems, think of possible solutions, and present them to our clients.

- Creating. Develop ideas and business cases for potential new revenue streams. Make strategic choices and determine a growth strategy.

- Implement. Lead by example of doing and get high-quality actual results for our clients.

In addition to working for our clients, you will also help growing our own adVentures start-ups. In this way, you practice directly what you preach to our customers.

Candidate profile: we're looking for the top 5% of academics

• 0-2 years working experience

• Analytical yet pragmatic

• Commercial mindset

• Affinity with online

• An academic education with a strong quantitative component, preferably a Master from a University of Technology or a Master in

Econometrics

• Grammar school (VWO/Gymnasium) with a 8 or higher for Beta courses (math, physics and chemistry)

• Extracurricular activities that prove your entrepreneurial qualities: either a board role of a student association or an own start-up

• Fluent in Dutch and English

Remuneration

The salary depends on your experience and background. Since Harvest is a starting business with a strong entrepreneurial element, the bonus element will be a big portion of your salary. Participation in Harvest and its new ventures will over time become an important element of your commitment and reward.

Principal Strategy Consultant Online

As a Harvest Principal Consultant you have the face value to talk to clients at C-level in the online industry, actively participating in discussion on strategy adjustments and monetization.

Combining your previously mastered rigor of strategy consulting with extensive insight in the online business, you can build winning strategies. If the current growth continues, you will manage a small team of consultants that help implement your ideas. As a project manager, you will be responsible for the success of the project and will report to the client’s senior management. Generating sales from existing and new clients is required by the end of the first year.

In venturing, you take up operational management of small online startups, bringing them in the shortest time possible to the level of mezzanine investors – or towards an exit.

Candidate profile

• 5-8 years working experience in strategy consulting and online business

• Entrepreneurial, with commercial mindset and high energy

• Strategist with a pragmatic approach

• Kick starter and a finisher

• Strong social- and project management skills

Remuneration

Remuneration will be based on a combination of guaranteed and variable income. Participation in Harvest or one or more ventures is expected after a trial period of 12 months.
