Harvest non-profit day features in Cordaan 'Year of the Volunteers' book
We are very proud that the Harvest quarterly non-profit day at the Hilversumse Heide with 'de Die' residents is featured in an article in the 'Year of the Volunteers' book. This book focusses on the volunteers that are essential for social care and especially on the 1700 volunteers that are active for Cordaan. The Harvesteers are happy to have helped two of these volunteers with a beautiful day of painting with the residents of nursing home 'de Die'. Several masterpieces were created that day and one of which is now shining in the Harvest meeting room.

Harvest quarterly non-profit day at the Hilversumse Hei with residents of Verpleeghuis de Die
On a wonderfully sunny May day afternoon, the nine Harvest consultants left the office to spend their second quarterly non-profit day at the Hilversumse Hei. During five magical hours, the team assisted a group of residents of Verpleeghuis De Die from Amsterdam Noord in making paintings to be sold for charity.
The results, both on the canvas as on the spirits of the artist, could only be described as mind-bobbling.
All in all a great experience that the Harvesteers hope to enjoy many times over in the future.

Harvest supports the ShareWrap (Geefpapier) foundation
Imagine yourself buying a gift in a store. At the register the cashier asks you: “Would you like your present gift wrapped or share wrapped?” Knowing that the extra dollar for ShareWrap will be donated to charity, and your gift will be wrapped in iconic wrapping paper, you choose the latter. Tapping into the practical and emotional moment of ‘giving’ at the register, ShareWrap will make it easy for millions of people around the globe to do good.
ShareWrap started as ‘Geefpapier’ in Holland in 2006. Currently the concept is proven from a consumer standpoint: sold out in 36 hours during a pilot at eBay.nl at 3FM Serious Request, and great consumer interest (48% considers ShareWrap) shown in a professional survey.

Harvest quarterly non-profit day at the Sloterplas festival
We spend most of our time behind a computer coming up with monetization solutions for multinationals. It is very refreshing to roll up our sleeves and help out local communities that need a pair of extra hands. In May 2010 we helped out at the Sloterplas festival, building a fantastic installation for an art project.
